Papa Bear Adventures is based in Bethel, Alaska. Approximately 400 miles west of Anchorage, Bethel is one of the largest communities in Western Alaska, located within the 20 million-acre Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge, the largest wildlife refuge in the nation.
Bethel is home to some of the greatest outdoor vistas you’ll ever experience, and its remote location allows you leave your regular life behind and connect with the outdoors during your trip. Bethel serves as an administrative and transportation hub for 56 villages in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta.
Papa Bear also provides on-demand charter service to the entire Yukon Kuskokwim Delta, Togiak National Wildlife Refuge, and the Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge.
